Add These Indian B Grade Movies To Your Watchlist If You Want A Dose Of Cringe Fun

Before we start the cringe-fest for you, let us clarify that officially, 'B Grade' defines low-budget commercial motion pictures with a pinch of sexuality or not.

We are a generation that is now hooked on movies having eye-popping VFX shots and stories that shake souls with their depth. But the entertainment industry keeps bringing us some Indian B Grade movies that, obviously, miss a storyline, have scenes that are hard to digest, and have titles making no sense at all.

And in times of so much motion content to indulge in, it can be quite a discrete and quirky thing to do to watch a movie from the picks that we got for you.

Chaand Par Chadayee

Two years before NASA made it to the moon, Bollywood tried to bring forth a love story happening in space. Yes, just going by the title, Chaand Par Chadayee, depicts a crew of astronauts landing on the moon and getting abducted by the aliens there. It is officially India's first science fiction movie. While the producers and directors showed guts, the execution made this a B Grade movie. The senseless portrayal of the moon, everyone speaking in the same language, and aliens in weird masks; so much cringe. It's a 1967 release, and Dara Singh played the protagonist.

Veerana

Do you like horror? Do you like hot ghosts? It's no joking; we are suggesting a movie that will give sensual thrills for sure with a dose of horror. But the thing is that the movie only tries to serve what it wants to, but it never lands. It is more an adult movie than a horror, and everything is cringed; dialogues, ghost sound, ghost makeup, and a storyline as lame as no story. Any 90s kid reading this surely knows about Veerana, but it is still worth watching to enjoy a nonsense cinema and experience lusty spirits. The year of release: 1988.

Gunda

The Grandmaster Mithun Da couldn't hold back and went to sign a script that turned out to be one of the earlier Indian B Grade movies. The Movie Gunda was released in 1998, and "Main Hoon Bulla, Rakhta Hoon Khulla", being the movie's only famous thing, says a lot about why it's a B Grade. And such cringe dialogues are throughout the movie, and the physics-defying action scenes add more to it.

Vishkanya

“Aur aapko vish jarur milega”! When we talk about movies that are bad, one thing has to be permanent, and that is a senseless plot line. Released in 1991, Vishkanaya is one such movie that plays with not only your precious time but also your mind. A girl becomes a Vishkana with a snake poison pill given by a Tantrik and set on a hunt with his Grandfather to kill her father and mother's killers; the plotline is such an indigestible drama followed by a bad screenplay.

Son Of Dracula

Now, you might be thinking that it's about Draculas, but actually, it's not! Whilst there is actually a Dracula, the twist is he is born to humans. A rich horny guy abuses a girl, and she gives birth to Dracula. And you might be surprised to know that this Indian B Grade movie was released in 2009. Along with its highly anticipated storyline (that is hilarious), the movie doesn't shy away from bringing sexuality to the platter.

If you can survive them, you are truly a cinema lover!
